Our AIM
Spatial Analysis, Urban Activism, Architecture, and Media in the Public Interest
COLLECTIVE DOMAIN is a design-research practice undertaking self-directed work on urban development and its media in the public interest. We are focused on documenting, analyzing, and addressing the interconnections between design, culture, and politics, as well as disseminating related research and information. The content we produce aims to provide a more comprehensive picture of design agency, highlighting a range of issues we as design-researchers are currently engaging. Beyond project-specific work, we aim to foster dialogue between like-minded scholars, practitioners, activists, and community members, producing new research alliances and collaborative relationships.
