დავით გოგიშვილი , 2017 წლიდან, ფლობს გრან სასოს მეცნიერებათა ინსტიტუტის დოქტორის ხარიხს ურბანისტიკასა და რეგიონალურ კვლევებში. იგი ასევე სწავლობდა საზოგადოებრივ გეოგრაფიას (თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში) და ქალაქგეგმარებასა და რეგიონალურ გეგმარებას (სტოკჰოლმის უნივერსიტეტში). დავითი ასევე მუშაობდა სხვადასხვა არასამთავრობო ორგანიზაციასა და ურბანულ სოციალურ მოძრაობასთან საჯარო ინფორმაციის ხელმისაწვდომობის, ღია გეოგრაფიული მონაცემების შექმნის და საქართველოსა და სამხრეთ კავკასიაში სხვადასხვა საქალაქო პრობლემებზე. იგი არის საბჭოთა წარსულის კვლევის ლაბორატორიის და იარე ფეხითის დამფუძნებელი.
